1973 Annual - Jon Pertwee

Doctor Who Annual 1973 was the seventh Doctor Who Annual published by World Distributors and released on September 1972.

The front cover and spine simply say 'The Doctor Who Annual' with no mention of the year.


This Annual featured the third Doctor, Liz Shaw, Brigadier Lethbridge-Stewart and Mike Yates.

 

In the Annual the Doctor is referred to as 'Dr Who' throughout. 

 

There was no Annual released for the 1972 market.  There is no known reason for this.

Set in Hawaii, England and Mars this story featured an enermy called the Minoans. The Story also featured the Doctor, Jo Grant the Brigadier. 

 

War In The Abyss

Featuring Jo Grant and the Doctor the story is set on Earth in the Antartic and features the Klatriss as the main enermy.

 

Hunt To The Death

Set in Yorkshire in the 1970's the Doctor and Jo Grant meet an enermy called The Kelad.  Interesting fact, The name of the Robot, Kelad is Dalek spelt backwards. 

 

Doorway Into Nowhere

This short story was set in England and featured The Doctor, Jo Grant and The Master.

 

The Claw

This short story was set in Scotland.  It featured The Doctor, Jo Grant, Mike Yates and Lethbride-Stewart and featured The MacFee as the Enermy.

 

Saucer Of Fate

This short short story was set in England in the 1970's. It featured The Doctor, Jo Grant, Lethbridge-Stewart and featured The Triolites as the Enermy.

 

The Phaser Aliens

This short story was set in Australia and featured The Doctor and Jo Grant.
