Doctor Who Poster Magazines
From 1975 to 1996 there were 11 Poster Magazines released.
These were quite unique in that they featured pictures and information but folded out into a Giant Poster for the reader to put up on their wall.
The first three were by various publications. However, the issues published in the mid 1990's were publication from theMarvel publishers of Doctor Who Magazine, which ran to only 8 issues.
The final two issues offered a different approach to the former, more generic offerings, in that they covered a specific television story, which was told using supporting fictional documents.
However, this later attempt at reformatting failed to reverse the series' sales slump, and the magazine folded before it could publish issue 9 — it remains unknown as to which story this would have been about.
Below are the Poster Magazines that were released.
I do not have all of these. Click on the issue name to take you to the ones that I have got. If anyone has the rest scanned and are willing to share then please get in touch. Thank you.
