Launcing in August 1997 Cult TV Magazine was an off shoot of the SFX Magazine.  SFX Magazine provided a free Special Preview Version of the Cult TV Magazine one month before the first proper issue.

 

Published by Future Publishing, Cult TV seemed to be pitched at the nostalgic twenty-somethings that were (apparently) snapping-up old shows (particularly kids shows) on VHS and searching

online for a nostalgia fix.

 

Everything from Danger Mouse to Doctor Who was featured with articles about the programmes, top ten style lists featured in every issue and Cult shows going to appear on television were featured.

 

In total the magazine lasted 11 issues with the final issue being published in June 1998
