Eagle Annuals and Specials
- Version 1
From 1952 until 1975 twenty-four Eagle Annuals were published, going through three publishers thanks to company buyouts, starting at Hulton Press then moving to Odhams Press and finally IPC.
Early annuals had identical, uniform covers aside from the number (as did the annuals of sister publications Girl, Swift and Robin), but from 1961 this practice was abandoned.
One of the artists working on the annuals was Ian Kennedy.
Following the New Eagle's launch in 1982, a new series of Eagle Annuals appeared dated from 1983 to 1992. There were also two Best of Eagle Annuals featuring material from the 1950s and 1960s.
All of the annuals featured Dan Dare.

Although there have been Eagle annuals before (for Eagle volume one - 1952 to 1975), these nine hardbacked annuals were all produced to coincide with the second volume of Eagle. None of the annuals have creator credits.
A final Eagle Yearbook was released in 1991.

After nine Eagle Annuals, Fleetway produced one more Yearbook in August / September 1991 for the Christmas Market.
Holiday Specials
Eight annual Holiday Specials were produced for Eagle between 1983 and 1990. At 64 pages each, they were a mix of new and reprint strip, articles and puzzle pages.
None of the Holiday Specials show creator credits.

The Happy Warrior: The Life Story in Picture-Strip of Sir Winston Churchill
An Eagle Book compiling the picture-strip that featured in the weekly Eagle comic during 1957/8 highlighting all the major events from Churchill's life from birth through to his resignation from parliament in 1955.
This book was also known to be a favourite with the grandchildren at the Churchill home.
