TV Sci-Fi Magazine 

TV Sci-Fi Monthly was a UK tabloid-size Cinema magazine. Published by Sportscene Publishers, Limited it produced Eight issues.

 

An "oversize" publication the magazine focused on various Television programmes and carried interviews and articles as well as its main feature, a large fold-out poster each issue.

 

The television series covered were roughly evenly divided between UK and US programmes, with a slight emphasis on the latter. Space: 1999 (1975-1977) and Star Trek (1966-1969) received the most attention.

 

Others featured were The Bionic Woman (1976-1978), Doctor Who (1963-current) and The Six Million Dollar Man (1973-1978). There was also interviews with such notables as Leonard Nimoy.

 

Sportscene Publishers produced several other poster-type publications, often focusing on such US television series Starsky and Hutch (1975-1979).

 

This title should not be confused with Science Fiction Monthly.
