In the issue 17th May - 31st May 1979 Smash Hits offered their readers a chance to get a free Clear Plastic Pop Wallet.

 

As the advert says on the left it is 'designed to tidy up your pockets'.  Made from colourful transparent plastic and measured approx 15 inch by 10 inch the wallet contained pockets to keep an array of items. 

 

In order to get the wallet you needed to collect 3 tokens and send off £1.00 to the address provided and the wallet was yours and you too would be the envy of all your friends.
