In the issue 8th February - 21st February 1979, Smash Hits provided it's readers with the chance to get their first ever give away by the magazine in the form of a Wall Chart.

 

As the advert says on the left, the Smash Hits Wall Chart can be used to keep a record of the Top Hits of 1979.  

 

It had spaces to put the top 3 singles of each week or you could just put your favourite top 3 single from each week.

 

To get the Wall Chart you had to send off 3 coupons, further coupons were in the following 3 issues of the magazine.
