The 17th June - 30th June 1987 issue of Smash Hits provided it's readers with a chance to get their hands on a Free set of Badges.  

 

Like other badge set one was attached to the cover but you had to collect 3 tokens in order to send off for the rest of the badges in the set.

Smash Hits

Madonna

Curiosity Killed The Cat

 

As usual you had to send a Self Addressed Envelope, with the 3 tokens, to Smash Hits Badge Offer and they would be yours to parade as much as you could.
