In the 28th October - 10th November 1992 issue of Smash Hits ran information on the up coming Comic Relief. 

 

The issues usually included a Tape Stars section in the final 2 pages which featured suggestions on songs and information on a particular band or artists.

Smas Hits asked their readers to design their own Tape Stars for Comic Relief and as part of that Kipper Williams provided Cartoons on the various musical styles that the reader could choose.
