In the 9th April - 22nd April issue of Smash Hits there was an announcement of The Great Mutterings Cartoon Caper Contest with Kipper Williams.

The reader had to send in a Cartoon of a Celebrity (or Celebrities) and the winner would win 4 original panels of previous cartoons featured in the magazine.
