The Empire Strikes Back
The Empire Strikes Back Official Poster Monthly was a magazine published by Paradise Press beginning in May 1980. It was the continuation of the Star Wars Official Poster Monthly last published two months earlier. Five monthly issues were produced, with issue 5 appearing in September 1980. The cover price in the United States was $1.50.
Its main feature was a large full-colour poster (advertised as "a giant, nearly 2 foot by 3 foot poster") of a character or scene from The Empire Strikes Back, along with a number of articles. The articles included character profiles and behind the scenes information.
The Empire Strikes Back Official Poster Monthly was followed by four issues of Return of the Jedi Official Poster Monthly in 1983.
