By 1985 Smash Hits had published their Seventh Annual Poll Winners results.

 

Smash Hits sister publication Star Hits published their first in May 1985.

 

The Voting Form was published earlier in the year and was to be used to ask their readers what their favourites were.  Completed forms would then be compiled into a list of the winners and runner up's and Star Hits would then print them in the Magazine.
