Smash Hits gave away a Free Set of Transfers with it's 

20th April - 3rd May 1988 issue.

 

The set comprised of different transfers which included the following:

 

Pet Shop Boys

A-Ha

Rick Astley

Philip Schofield

Michael Jackson

Madonna

Wet Wet Wet

 

All you had to do is rub the transfer with a pencil onto a piece of paper (or anything else that takes your fancy) and the picture has been transferred.
