In the issue 18th April - 1st May 1990, Smash Hits gave away a badge on the front Cover.

There was 2 Packs of 4 Badges to chooses from, making a total number of 8 badges, and inside it gave you the information for getting the others.

All you had to do was have 2 coupons, send them both to the address, with a self addressed envelope, indicating which set of badges you wanted and within 28 days later they arrived for you to wear with pride.
