In the 11th December - 24th December 1991 issue of Smash Hits they gave away a Free Advent Calendar.

This Advent Calendar gave the reader a chance to chart the 12 days of Christmas with Jordan Knight, Marky Mark, Dannii Minogue, Michael Jackson, Madonna and others.

This issue also gave away £5 worth of Woolworths Vouchers to redeem against any CD's, Singles, Cassette's and Music Video's
