1981 Poll Winners
Smash Hits published the 'Third Annual Smash Hits Readers Poll Voting Form' in the 29th October 1981 issue of Smash Hits.
The Voting Form was to be used to ask the readers what their favourites were from for the year 1981.
The Poll had 10 catagories such as Best Group, though to the Most Fanciable Human Being.
The results were then published as a 16 page Pull-Out and Keep Review Of The Year Section in the 24th December 1981 issue of the magazine.
Below is a list of the Winners and Runners Up from that year.

2 - Best Female Singer Of The Year
3 - Best Male Singer Of The Year
4 - Best Album Of The Year
5 - Best Single Of The Year
6 - Best TV Programme Of The Year
7 - Best Radio Show Of The Year
8 - Most Appalling Record Of The Year
9 - Most Promising New Act For 1982
10 - Most Fanciable Human Being Of The Year
