The Smash Hits Yearbook was Published by Smash Hits and Emap National Publications Ltd and was Edited By Chris Heath
The Year Book featured various artists such as Pet Shop Boys, Madonna, U2, Terrence Trent D'Arby, The Housemartins, Beastie Boys and many more
.

The publication also included a Month per Month 1988 Diary.
