2002 Poll Winners
Smash Hits published the Twenty Third Annual Smash Hits Readers Poll Voting Form' in the 18th September - 1st October 2002 issue of Smash Hits.
The Voting Form was to be used to ask the readers what their favourites were from the year 2000.
The Poll had categories such as Best Group, though to the Mouth Almighty.
The results were then published in the 18th December 2002 - 7th January 2001 issue of the magazine.
This was also the 3rd year that the awards were broadcast live on T4 and sponsored by Woolworths.

This was the Fifth-teen year that the Smash Hits Poll Winners Party took place.
This time it was at London Wembley Arena and was broadcast by T4 on Channel 4 in association with Woolworths.
The Director was Hamish Hamilton and the Assistant Director was Hayley Collett. The Producer was Lee Lodge with the Executive Producer being Ian Stewart and Music Department by Kieran Kiely.
The party was on Sunday 24th November 2002 and was broadcast by T4 on Channel 4 at 3.30 pm
Presenting the show was Vernon Kay and June Sarpong with Kelly Osbourne who had to leave the show half way through the awards.
Featuring pop stars Kelly Osbourne, Busted, S Club Juniors, S Club, Sugababes, Westlife, The Calling, Darius, Blue, Atomic Kitten, Gareth Gates, Liberty X, Blazin' Squad and Holly Valance to name a few.
