1999 Poll Winners
Smash Hits published the Thirteenth Annual Smash Hits Readers Poll Voting Form' in the 6th October - 19th October 1999 issue of Smash Hits.
The Voting Form was to be used to ask the readers what their favourites were from the year 1999.
The Poll had categories such as Best Group, though to the Most Fanciable Human Being.
The results were then published in the 15th December - 28th December 1999 issue of the magazine.
This was also the 11th year that the awards were broadcast live on BBC1.

This was the twelfth year that the Smash Hits Poll Winners Party took place.
It was at London Arena - Docklands in London and was broadcast by BBC TV in association with Our Price.
The party was on Sunday 5th December 1999 and was broadcast on BBC1 at 3.30 pm. Steps presented the show.
Featuring pop stars A1, Britney Spears, Boyzone, B*Witched, Charlotte Church and Five among others.
It was also broadcast on Radio 1
