This is a misprint as the correct date of 5th January 1980 is printed on the other pages in the issue
Cover Price
Over the lifetime of the publication the cover priced increased.
Below will showcase these increases as we add more issues to the site.
The first issue dated 7th March 1952 had a price cover of 6d (pre decimal system)
1970's
In 1975 (need date) the price increased to 15p
11th June 1977 the price increased to 18p
28th October 1978 the price increased to 20p
1980's
15th March 1980 the price increased to 25p
7th August 1982 the price increased to 35p
31st January 1981 the price increased to 30p
4th June 1983 the price increased to 40p
