Derry Girls
H Bauer Publishing in partnership with Channel 4's 4Creative team, produced a 28 page Smash Hits Special dedicated to the Derry Girls Season 3 programme which was set in the 90's.
There was a print run of 150,000 copies. Some were given away Free in various cities across UK between 5th April - 11th April while others came bagged together with the 5th April 2022 edition of Heat and Closer (See Left).
The special was produced to celebrate the start of the Final Season of Derry Girls and became part of the overall promotion of the series. On TikTok, fans were treated to exclusive magazine content adapted for social, such as the ability to insert their own images onto the front cover of Smash Hits with the Derry Girls cast.
